When did you begin skating?:
I first stepped on the ice when I was four, but I didn’t realize my love for this sport until I was 6.
How did you begin skating?
As a shy kid growing up, it was always hard for me to express myself, but when I am on the ice I felt like a completely different person. It was that feeling that kept me on the ice for ten years.
What is your favorite thing about skating?
Being able to fly across the ice and being able to spin until my fingertips tingle is one of my favorite feelings in the world. It is one of the many reasons why I love skating.
What is your least favorite thing about skating?
Falling is one of those things we all do on a regular basis, but no matter how many times I fall I will still hate it. Despite it being one of my least favorite thing about skating, I have come to realize that it is from the falls that I have learned; it’s the mistakes that have made me who I am.
